Hurricane/Disaster Relief

Pythians are committed to helping people. In that spirit, we encourage brothers and communities at large to contribute to the recovery of disasters victims such as the Hurricanes that wreaked havoc this past summer and early Fall as well as the devastation of mudslides in southern California.

Months after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, the island remains largely without electric power.  Water is also hard to find and many residents continue to collect water from creeks at the risk of acquiring waterborne diseases. Rebuilding has been slowed by lack of supplies.

Relief for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston continues.

In Montecito County, California, digging out of catastrophic mudslides has barely begun.

NJ Pythian Charities Foundation, Inc. an IRS 501-C-3 Corporation, is committed to helping communities in need and will coordinate donations to the American Red Cross and local organizations for disaster relief in Puerto Rico, Houston and California.

Send disaster relief checks made out to NJ Pythian Charities Foundation, designate one or more sites,  to:
